LET’S DIVE INTO SOME SWORD DANCING THIS FALL!
Join us for a magical afternoon of sword dancing, movement and ritual as we welcome the energy of autumn, the fullness of harvest season and the approaching Samhain.
We are offering two unique sword dance workshops online via zoom with two different approaches to this fascinating art form.

WORKSHOP 1 — Sacred Sword Choreography
**with Virginie Violett**
Start the day with a FCBD© Sacred Sword based single sword choreography which is infused by Virginie Violett’s own signature movements as well as a pinch of Pumpkin Spice, the fullness of harvest season and the upcoming Samhain.
We will learn a sweet little choreo that will center ourselves and bring awareness of the changes that the fall season will bring, as well as get you and your sword moving, polish your skills or take a sneak peek into the format.
You will need:
• A warm drink of your choice
• A candle
• Your sword
• A headband or scarf if needed for the balancing parts
• Fundamental knowledge about the FCBD© Format

WORKSHOP 2 — Sword Magick Double Sword with Shannon
**As Above, So Below**
Enter into the next level of the magickal world of Shannon Burla and Sword Magick in this premiere opportunity to study double sword technique and choreography!
Dive deep into the foundation (from below), and combine that foundation with the inspiration of the cosmos (from above).
We will focus on power, confidence, transitions, clean technique, and adding smoldering energy to your double sword ritual dance.
Please note: this workshop is for intermediate-advanced dancers and 2 years of dedicated single sword dance study is required.

Let's create a space in between practice and performance, a place where imperfection is appreciated, new ideas are taken their first steps, things you may working on at the moment....without pressure.

Shannon Burla is an ordained Priestess of Animistic Magick in The Order of the Stag and the Rose, as well as the creator of fusion dance style Sword Magick™. She is inspired by mist and wildflowers and she dances at the crossroads between magick and art. Her sword is her ceremonial blade- her Athame- and with it she weaves potent magical spells and tells powerful stories of love, loss, strength, survival and joy.

Sanctum Samhain

Welcome home...
Across the threshold lies Sanctum Samhain - a sanctuary where, for this night, you can enter a space that was made for your spirit. A place where your beloved dead awaits your arrival to celebrate the thinning of the veil - to celebrate what once was, and what is yet to come. A sanctuary of potent magick where art and spirit meet as one. Where we can refill our deepest cups. Where we can use this liminal time of the fading light as a portal to bring idea into form.
Sanctum Samhain is a bridge between this world and the next, a place of celebration and reunion. Reunion of the self and what lies beyond.
Join us for a ritual from 6-7 that seeks to bring forward what must be nurtured in order to thrive, finding the support you will need to nurture it, and finding gratitude in the present moment. We will connect with our beloved dead, give them our love, and offer blessings that can be taken into the coming year.
Dress Code:
Magick and Whimsy - No casual attire allowed!
Wear an ensemble that makes you feel your most magickal. We encourage cloaks, robes (do you have a Circus Something Cultist Robe?), lace, velvet silk, crowns, head dresses, wings! What magickal creature lurks beneath your everyday self that is itching to be expressed?
