Whispers of the Heart: The Magician
This invitation presents a heart centered, spirit lead opportunity to dive into sovereignty and magick. This offering has all the depth of an intensive spread out over six weeks. Six weeks of connection to your blade, to your self. Tuning out all other noise so you can hear the whispers of your own intuition…of your own heart.
If you choose to join us on stage and share your magick with the community, we get a little more time together during extra rehearsals before our big performance with The Dancers of Nyx at Sirens Fest on Satuday July 25.
Whether you want to perform with us, dip your toes into technique, or learn a choreography for your own practice, there are many ways you can join.

There are multiple ways to join:
Option 1:
Sword Magick™: Steel and Bone
12:45-1:45pm PST
6 weeks of Sword Magick™ Technique for all levels. This option can be taken as a stand-alone technique series for those just wanting to dip their toes into the Sword Magick™ grimoire, or sharpen their ritual sword dance technique. In this class, we will work on foundational technique of the Sword Magick™ format. Technique will connect to the performance series and is a pre-requisite for all those wishing to perform at Sirens Fest with The Dancers of Nyx.
This course is beginner friendly and can be take online or in person.
Option 2:
Single Sword Magick™
2-3pm PST
Includes Sword Magick™: Steel & Bone as well as a Single sword choreography with option to perform with the Dancers of Nyx during the Teacher Power Hour at Siren’s Fest in Sebastopol, CA on Saturday July 25.
In this course, we learn a single sword choreography that is tied to the power and magick of circle casting. We will dive into the energetic techniques of circle casting as well as the art of creating sacred space for personal practice as well as group ritual. And of course, we will do it with a blade.
This course is beginner friendly and can be taken online or in person.
Option 3:
Double Sword Magick™
3:15-5:15
Includes Sword Magick™: Steel & Bone as well as a Double Sword Choreography with option to perform with the Dancers of Nyx during the Teacher Power Hour at Siren’s Fest in Sebastopol, CA on Saturday July 25.
In this choreography, we step into our power as dancers…as Priestess/Priestx/Priests…as Magicians. It’s a choreography about stepping into your identity as a magical being full of power and agency. To share this power on stage to inspire others to find this light within themselves…and how the first step of any potent journey begins with wishful thinking…Make a wish, and see where it takes you! We will dig into the power of how our thoughts and our words are potent magickal spells and dig into the dynamic of choice.
This choreography is most suited for intermediate to advanced dancers with at least 1-2 years of dedicated sword dance study and can be taken online or in person.

Option 4:
Full Heart Bundle
Dive headfirst into Sword Magick™ to create a powerful performance dripping with magick and steeped in ritual. Leading with your heart, connecting with your spirit and your blades.
This option can be taken in person or online.

Frequently Asked Questions
If I live far away, can I sign up for the online class and still come perform?
Yes! If you live far away and still want to join us for the performance, I would love to have you!
You would sign up for the an in-person slot and also make sure you are here in person for the rehearsals on 7/12 and the final dress rehearsal 7/19 so we can have plenty of time to rehearse staging.

Are there payment plans available?
Yes! You can select a monthly payment plan at checkout. If you need to make other arrangements, please email me at swordmagickshannon@gmail.com
I have scheduling conflicts on a couple of the dates - will I still be able to perform?
Yes! Depending on which dates! The rehearsal dates, 7/12 and 7/19, are required to be able to perform, but missing one or two of the other dates should be ok, since all students will have access to the recordings with the understanding that if students who have to miss classes would watch the recording to catch up before the next class.
When is the performance?
We will be performing at Siren's Fest during the teacher's set on Saturday July 25. Precise timing should be available by 7/12, but we often don't know the exact lineup until the day of the event.
Do I have to perform, or can I just come to learn the choreography(-ies)?
You can absolutely just join to learn and not perform! In that case, please register for the Online option. If you want to join us in the studio, register for the online option and then email me at swordmagickshannon@gmail.com to let me know!
What is your cancellation policy?
All sales are final, and no refunds will be given for any reason. If life happens, and you need to cancel, you can sell your spot to another dancer and transfer the spot to them. To finalize the transfer, all transfers MUST go through me to ensure everyone’s financial safety and to get the new dancer set up in the system to receive all class details.
